Cushiony Greatness

Let me tell yall. These shoes are the best thing since sliced bread. Most comfortable running shoe I’ve ever put my feet into. I liked the glycerin 21, didn’t really care for the glycerin 22, but they nailed these ones. I’ve only put on about 40 miles on these shoes so far so I can’t speak to durability but they are comfortable as can be.

Superior Cushioning, Comfortable, Small Toe Box, Possible Stability Issue

The cushioning on the Glycerin 23s is outstanding which makes them comfortable for walking or running. The heel lock at the back of the shoe is an effective feature for keeping my feet from coming out. That does make putting the shoes on a little more difficult but the loop at the back eliminates that issue. The toe box seems smaller than on my other Brooks shoes. Perhaps because of the superior cushioning, the shoe has a stability issue, although slightly improved from the 22s, which could be a concern for some when walking on uneven terrain or stairs. The color selection could be improved.

Comfortable But Needs More Stability

Comfortable. Lots of cushion and I like the look. however, I have the tendency to supinate and this shoe does not have the stability in the heel that are provided by other models.

If you liked Glycerin 22, you'll love the new Glycerin 23. Excellent ride and makes runs strong-feeling and easy.

Like Stepping On Air Cushions

I recently bought the Brooks Glycerin 23 in the Wide version and honestly they feel perfect on my feet. As soon as you put them on it feels like the shoe molds perfectly to your foot like nothing I have ever felt before, it just hugs your foot in the most perfect way. The fit is spot on, super comfortable right out of the box with no cramped toes at all. The sole is incredibly soft. You can actually feel those nitrogen infused bubbles working and it seriously feels like you are stepping on individual air cushions every time your foot hits the ground. To be completely honest, compared to another brand I regularly use, these have a little less pop or springy bounce. They are not going to launch you forward. I still need to put more miles in them to see if that lower energy return affects me in any way, but so far everything is absolutely perfect. While they might have less explosive bounce, they definitely lean into pure shock absorption. The cushioning when you land is just amazing.I am definitely keeping these as my go to shoes for daily miles and recovery days. That being said, if Brooks ever makes a Wide version of the Glycerin Max, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Excellent For Walking!

This is my first pair of Glycerin 23. I have been a big fan of the Ghost shoes and thought I would try something new. I’m glad I did. The shoes are very comfortable, light weight, and look great.

Great Shoe

These are great. We bought them for my father who has some issues walking. These helped him walk better. He isn’t taking double steps and is able to walk down stairs.
