Very happy with this purchase. Completed entirely online including gift card with ease.

Great Tent!

Awesome lightweight tent that won't break the bank! This thing is bomber!

Awesome Tent!

This thing is great! Super lightweight. Easy to set up. Holds up to the elements. What's not to like!? Big Agnes for the win!

Ditto! I Love This Tent!!

I am hard to please when it comes to tents. I need air and views and light but then protection in a storm and not too heavy. This is a fantastic tent. I find the zippers very easy to use with one hand. Very easy set up and if you haven't done it for a while the instructions are sewn into the tent bag. Usually I'm in there by myself but just recently I was out in the Boundary Waters with a friend and during a nighttime storm her tent got flooded and mine was dry even though there were a couple of inches of water under it. We moved the tent and she slept in my tent and there was very adequate amount of room. The vestibules are super! Now she wants to replace her old tent with a Salt Creek! : ) Highly recommend!

I Love This Tent!

This is by far the best 3 season tent I have ever used. It is roomy enough for me as a 6'3" tall man, to get in and out easily, as well as move around comfortably. The ventilation capacity makes it comfortable in any conditions and the spacious vestibules are great for lots of gear and wet clothing that you may not want inside. Additionally, it is super easy and fast to set up and stow away. The footprint is a perfect fit too.

Kept Me Dry In A Downpour

I used this tent on a solo backpacking trip. This is one of the few 2-person tents that I'm confident could actually fit two people, and I plan on sharing with a friend on a future trip. Plenty of headroom to sit up. I think it's a nice balance of weight and comfort. Most importantly, this tent kept me dry through a torrential downpour all night long. It also kept me cool, which was a pleasant surprise. Water did pool on the roof behind the vent, which could be an issue. Taking it down in the rain without soaking everything was challenging, but that could be due to my relative inexperience. I would definitely recommend setting it up at home first, as the pole design is a bit different and takes some getting used to. I never could figure out how to get the awning to stay up, but that could definitely be user error. Overall, a great tent!

It's A Mansion But Surprisingly Lightweight

I bought this tent a few months ago, in preparation for a multi-day trip to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. It is super easy to set up; I specifically like the colorcoding of matching orange poles to orange tent corners and silvery poles to white tent corners. I slept two nights on Third Beach and two nights on the Enchanted Valley trail. I love love love the front door, which means I can crawl in while keeping my feet outside the tent easier, thus dragging less dirt in. The material is thin, but it has robustness to it, and it kept all sorts of tiny bugs out. I like the ventilation options. I did get overly warm in the middle of the day if I was inside with everything zippered up, which means it'd hold heat well in cooler temperatures. Didn't happen to have any internal moisture problems during my trip and it even rained on the last day. It was very nice being able to reverse fast-fly the tent in the rain. I was able to take down the inner portion while staying under the fly and on the ground tarp. Just a matter of disassembling it while inside and then popping the tent poles out of their holders, re-putting them into the tarp's holders, and doing that for all four corners. All of the pockets were great. I did take my big orange safety whistle and its necklace cord, and put the cord through a loop on the main overhead pocket in such a way as to fasten the pocket up a bit higher. It does hang a bit low once it's filled with stuff. Overall, this is a mansion as a one person tent with plenty of space to sit up and move around. I'd have been fine also making this an actual two person tent with my partner, especially since with the multiple entries there's plenty of space to get in and out and store stuff. Overall, I'm really glad I went with my gut and splurged on this tent. It's not the lightest out there, but I felt very safe in it since it was a standalone, rather than something that required needing stakes, and it didn't feel super flimsy.

Incredible In The Wind

Great tent! It held up in some of the most wicked wind ever! It's fairly lightweight kinda a bridge between compact car camping and backpacking. If the weight is distributed between two packs, it's very lightweight. I find the tent is spacious for a two person with lots of head/shoulder room. I love the larger vestibules and three doors! Makes for good ventilation. A couple of drawbacks are: the zippers, and the front door. I love the front door except you need two poles (or the perfect sticks you can find sometimes,) guys and stakes to keep the flap up. As for the zippers, the side doors take two hands to open. Also the wind/rain flap on the fly tends to get stuck in the zipper. Care must be taken to avoid any zipper mishaps. Over-all I still like the tent, although I haven't used it in a downpour yet, only light rain.

Love This Tent

Very breathable camping in northern Arizona. Love the cozy light interior and the shelf above the feet. With a twin air bed (just fits), the clothing on the shelf helped keep my feet warm. Used gathered sticks to hold up the canopy. Short sticks held the canopy open to increase air flow during rain, but don't expect to keep the canopy fully extended during the rain and not get your stuff wet. Get the related footprint - it has clips and grommets that anchor to the rainfly and poles with it you can unclip part or all of the interior tent and move it aside. Don't expect a huge amount of depth or headspace to sit under the canopy, and you need to add two extra stakes or use rocks to anchor the canopy guy lines.

Love This Tent!

Taken it out a couple of times and it's been great! It's nice and roomy and the setup is so easy. The only downside is that the bag it comes in is very fragile and mine ripped the second time I put it back in the bag which was a bummer but not the end of the world. The rest of the tent seems very well made though so that makes up for it.

I Really Like It

The defining feature of this tent is that 3rd door and it is awesome! It's like a giant picture window. You spend all that effort hiking to some beautiful place, why not have a tent that allows you to continue to enjoy the view from inside the tent. It also does wonders for ventilation. The volume is really nice. The floor size is pretty standard 2-person. The gear loft over the foot area is pretty roomy. I kept a lot of seldom used stuff there while camping over the weekend. Off the floor and out of the way.

Happy I Got This One

I did a lot of research trying to find a new tent. I was drawn to this one because of the 3-door feature, it being a somewhat lightweight backpacking tent, the awning setup for shade during my morning coffee, and the many many pockets and thoughtful design. So far I have used this tent once on a backpacking trip in Utah. It did snow one evening during the trip about 2-3 inches and the tent held up just fine and I was completely dry inside. The tent is very intuitive to set up. I am looking forward to using this again.
