I bought two of the Hinman (WIDE, LONG) for my Thule M Approach RTT. They fit perfectly! I took my rig tent camping this past weekend and set up the pads for the first time. I slept just as well as I do when I'm in my bed at home, and I have BA and the Hinman mattress pads to thank. My two favorite features: they are self inflating and you can adjust firmness by adding or releasing air without feeling like your'e on deflated air mattress. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their sleeping system to maximize comfort and warmth.
I am a big fan of the Hinman, for car camping its perfect for backpacking I'd get something a little smaller. Its very warm, if you want it to be a little bit more soft blow it up just a couple more times by mouth after it fills up. I will say i wasn't expecting how long it would take to blow up but if you unfold it right after you make camp and hangout for 30-ish minutes its not a big deal.
Used this on a recent trip to Joshua Tree in December with temps in the low 30s. This thing is amazing. I've never been so comfortable tent camping before. Couldn't feel the cold at all and had plenty of room for two of us. I could have slept on this for weeks.
Comfortable pad, wide and great for car camping. Do not like the valve system as it's hard to reinsert orange section once you remove it.

I bought the doublewide, 4in thick version of this, and it's great for car camping when space isn't at a premium. It's very comfy and warm, and it stays still when one person moves.
Best sleeping mat for car camping - thick, comfortable, quiet when you roll over, and the double works great for me and my partner in a 3-man tent. I sleep so well on it that I've been looking for extra opportunities to car camp - that from a diehard backpacker.

I've used this mat 3 times so far, and it fits great in a 50" wide suburban. We also used it in our tent. It's sturdy, soft, and comfortable. I recommend!

Very comfortable mar! It goes very well with the dream island 20 bag I purchased with it. Highly recommend!

Most comfortable air mattress I've ever owned, used with the Dream Island 35 Doublewide Sleeping Bag. Inflation and deflation a breeze with the reversable valve. Compresses down to fit in a duffle bag but too large for a backpack. An equipment storage bag would be a nice addition to protect/transport the air mattress. #sweepstakes
Got this for car camping and it doesn't disappoint. Very comfy and love the self inflating. I do wish BA would sell a small pump to help push it over the top in terms of firmness.
Not the quality it use to be. I have one from 6 years ago. It works great, keeps air in, easy to fold up. I got two more for my parents and kids. The quality is awful. The air doesn't stay in, I can't find the leaks, it's just unusable. And since its like this for both new ones I purchased, I have to assume it's just how this product is. Don't buy.
Big Agnes undersells this product hard. It has a cleverly engineered valve system, allowing you top it off after it has self-inflated, and then you can flip the valve around to push all the air out without you having to worry about it self inflating after you get off of it. Genius. We will see how long it lasts, since the seals are like tupperware tops - they are tight, but maybe time will cause the materials to stretch and become less tight and leak prone - low risk though, especially with BAs level of support. They undersell the warmth on this pad - the advertised R-value on the site is for the thinner pads. The 4" pad is similar in warmth to other products on the market which are more expensive (Exped MegaMat Duo). I slept at home on this pad just to get a feeling for how it felt: much quieter and comfortable than my Q-Core SL or my uninsulated AXL, which I use for backpacking. I bought this primarily for car-camping with my family - my 1 year old fell asleep on it and just stayed there all night, and this was at a time in his life when he was waking up every few hours. It is comfy. It packs up more compactly than the queen size Aerobed it is replacing, it is lighter, and warmer. All good things. It will fit well in the back of my F-150 bed when I get it.

Comfortable and light. 4" is a lot of loft. 1 star off for no longer coming with a carrying sack or pump sack and another knock for tapered edge instead of straight or slightly raised. Got it with a coupon so solid purchase for the price. Full retail other options would be better
Give it time to fully open and inflate at home before you use it the first time, and always give it as much time as you can to inflate at each camp.

We married this up to a Sleepy Bear double wide bag by Big Agnes. Awesome pad. Nice feel. Relatively low profile when rolled up considering it's a 50" wide pad. Love it.
