Great Pad!

Man, this might not be the smallest pad but the comfort is out of control. I'm a move around a lot when I sleep and this pad doesn't loose air at all. It's a bit more rugged material too so sleeping right on the ground isn't a problem. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade!

Recommend Getting This Footprint

After using a 3rd party ground cloth on my prior tent, I definitely recommend getting the ground cloth designed perfectly for the tent you take. High quality, ultralight and fits the tent footprint perfectly.

A No-brainer Must Have!

The Fly Creek HV UL 2 is an essential for your camping needs. Being able to pitch the fly to the footprint for lightweight applications is an amazing feature. Makes for an awesome caping experience in fair weather. Even more important keeping the Fly Creek HV UL 2 Tent in its best condition possible is a huge plus. #sweepstakes

Does Its Job But Could Be Better

I find a footprint to be useful for protecting the floor of the tent and keeping the tent clean and dry. It does the job but could be better. Fit is decent on the entrance end where the poles attach to the tent and the footprint. On the feet side the lines are far too long for where the tent and fly stake. I'm not sure why this is (maybe to be able to wrap the line around a rock) and the length is a little long so the single pole at the footprint doesn't keep the footprint locked into the poles if you attempt to adjust the placement of the tent.

Fly Creek Footprint

Given how lightweight the tent fabric is on the Fly Creek, getting a footprint was an easy decision. They fit and they work protecting the floor of the tent.

Light And Easy To Pack!

I love my Big Agnes Fly Creek tent with the Footprint! When I purchased the tent I almost didn't invest in the footprint. I'm happy I did! When setting up camp on dirt with plenty of sticks and twigs I felt confident that I had made the right decision. My tent remained dry and protected during a great nights sleep..

Footprint Review

I have used a diy footprint out of tarp material but did not like the weight it added. I like the footprint and the ability to attach the rainfly if it is raining so the tent can be put up under the rain fly.

Fly Creek Footprint

It's a must for the fly creek tent. It fits perfectly.

Good Footprint For Flimsy Tent

So far the footprint by itself has been great. It's sturdy enough and can pack into the tent stuff sack. I've been less pleased with the tent. The material on the rain fly and the stuff sack are ultra-light but not very durable. I've used the tent twice and already both have holes. My finger (not the nails) poked right through the stuff sack when I was putting away the tent strong winds brought down a small branch (less than 1' long and less than 1" wide) which tore right through the vestibule making an approximately 2" gash. Moreover, the elastic in the tent pools has stretched and the whole tent is prone to collapse. During the same wind storm, my tent was nearly flattened whereas friends who had also brought less-lightweight big agnes tents had no issues. Although this is marketed as a 3 season tent, my experience using it in the backcountry during summer would make me hesitant to use it in any but the fairest conditions. Why then not just sleep out under the stars? In the future, I would trade a few more ounces or weight for a tent that is more durable and which will last more seasons without damage.

Terrific Footprint - A Perfect Fit For My Tent!

This footprint worked perfectly with my tent on a recent 2-week backpacking trip in the Rocky Mountains! It is lightweight for backpacking, yet sturdy and protective of the bottom of my tent. (I used rubber bands to connect each of its stake-out tabs to those on the bottom of my tent. This way the footprint is attached and aligned with my tent, and I can just fold and roll it up with my tent. Thankfully, with careful folding and rolling, it fits in the tent's stuff sack...along with the tent.)
