Gotta Wear Socks

I love these shoes, but sadly the fabric used for the top (?) part rubs the top of my foot so badly and actually will rub the skin off on long river days. Wearing socks alleviates this issue‚Ä¶ but I would rather not wear socks lol

Strong

I‚Äôve worn these so many times and in most environments. They dry nice, I love the inserts as they are strong-don‚Äôt seem to wear down, and they clean up well. There are no holes or freys‚Ä¶the material durable. They‚Äôre just well made shoes!

Dumped My Hiking Shoes

Second Grand Canyon rafting/camping trip that was much heavier hiking than previous trip, I dumped my Oboz hikers for the Astrals. I found the close-to-the-foot size made me much more comfortable on steep/narrow hikes than the heavier hikers without sacrificing grip. Back for my second pair. Dinged one star for lack of half sizes.

Favorite Shoe

These shoes are the best minimalist shoe I‚Äôve tried. I use these as an every day shoe and I love them. At first they were a little hard to get on and off because there is no tongue, but they did stretch out a bit and they are super easy now and I even can wear socks with them. They are also super easy to clean as I can simply wash them and leave them out to dry. I hope someday they make them in black with a white sole like they do for kids.
