Open boater 9000
Was much more narrow than it looked online. Also seems to fit about 2 sizes smaller than any comparable chaco, teva, etc. Comfortable straps and soles seem good. Will be great for my 11 year old in the size i thought would fit me. Order at least 2 sizes bigger than you would other snadal brands.

My normal size is 10.. the 10 was too small so I ordered an 11.. this was still way too small

I have had these before and they added mesh to the top which I am kinda meh on it. I get they will stay on better or at least I think that is the reason but I prefer a little more freedom. Still comfy

I bought a pair a couple years ago. I've worn them everyday since early March this year, we're going on October. These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned, and I'll definitely grab another. These are nowhere near worn out.l, I just need to double up on color.

Comfortable, dried out fast, stayed on in deep mud. Clips are bending on both pair of shoes after one five day boundary waters trip however.

They are great quality sandals, way better than keens and they stick to floors and rocks
Ver comfortable and great water sandals. And very durable and they have good traction on stones

I've been searching for a good sandal for years and this is the most comfortable sandal which I fully plan to buy again when my current pair wears out. It took a moment to feel okay with the moldings that come up slightly where your toes meet the meat of your foot, but once over that you'll never notice it again. Why these are great: - The mesh coverage between buckles means my feet won't get sunburned like with other sandals - Same mesh makes for super comfy, breathable feel around the tops of my feet both in and out of water - The grip has been great whether SUP-ing, biking, or even spontaneous hikes - I wear them everywhere and for nearly any occasion The cons: - Sometimes when sitting on my heels (which I've been told I do more than most people) the big buckles knock each other and pinch my foot. Rare, but it happens. - My first pair, after owning for nearly a year, had the metal strap-holder bend. Warranty claim and I'm happy with my new pair.

Worst sandals I’ve ever owned. Gigantic buckles rub holes in the top of your foot. Such a goofy illogical design m. Idk who approved it but they need to be transferred to a new department or let go.

I’ve been guiding whitewater for 20 years and have used many different types of footwear from shoes to sandals and these are the best all-around whitewater sandals. The grip is perfect on slippery rocks, and the thwart pad makes is easy to wedge your foot under the thwarts. You have the freedom of a sandal with the fit of a shoe.
The buckles are too big. There is no floatation. The clasp gives me blisters. The sole is slippery. I was excited but disappointed in the end.

These sandals have a great, hard, grippy sole. As someone that prefers a barefoot feel out of both sandals and shoes, these weren't necessarily my infinite favorite - but that's not Astral's fault, that's just a personal preference. The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars is because the buckles over the foot bed are kind of...large, and the imprint of the foot was much shorter than where my actual forefeet sit, so the little ridge between the forefeet and the toes that keeps your foot from sliding forward/backwards actually sits closer to the back of my forefeet when I have the sandals buckled.

Probably the worst product I've ever ever bought. Bought them for a long trip to Asia, and the buckle broke almost immediately. When I tried to fix it with the homemade buckle, the grooves on the inside of the shoe cut into my toe. Just a terrible product.

Really nice sandals, I'd say they were perfect if the the forefoot area was much wider. I ended up going 2 sizes up to make it work, but they are worth it. If there was a way to make the heel strap less floppy in jandal mode that would be deluxe. Grip is bomber which is what most sandals lack
