Super Passform

Als Zustiegsschuh und Wanderschuh, sehr angenehm und leicht zu tragen

Banger Boots

i routeset in these. pretty great shoes, good grip for forerunning or indoor climbing. super durable and very comfortable. they can edge on small holds surprisingly well and they’re great on volumes. approach is great as well. easy to talus hop and i feel like i have good traction everywhere. biggest downside is my shoelace comes untied sometimes.

Foot Pain Begone

Sole stability overcomes my plantar fasciitis and joint arthritis. If you are looking to eliminate excessive flex in the sole, this is it.

Too Narrow. Very Stiff.

Shoes were too narrow for my normal width foot. They were also quite stiff.

Approach Approved!

During my first wear test I felt the durability apparent in the exterior reinforced rubber walls, well lugged sole, and convenient lace garage. Since then I've worn them for 2 months straight and I'm impressed with the design choices to make an approach shoe that fits in on the trail, days of long travel, and even on production sets as a low profile work shoe.

How Did This Shoe Make It Past Quality Control

The shoes look great but are far from it. When i walked one shoe kept digging into the front part of my foot under the big toe. Also, I used them for only two 8 mile hikes and the front rubber started wearing down to where you can see the material underneath. Absolutely unacceptable for the price, I returned them and felt very disappointed

Top Approach Shoe

Brilliant, have used the model before these and they have lasted 3 years allround use. Just needed a slight repair inside the heel from wear and tear. This model is good to go out of the box, no breaking in. Quality looks as good as the previous model so lets see :-)

Konseal No Longer A Serious Hiking Shoe

Major disappointment; compared to the old version. This used to be a serious hiking shoe; waterproof being among the features. Now water penetrates along the tongue as the tongue gusset is made of perforated material; you can’t walk through any depth of water; even rain gets through.

A Bit On The Heavy Side

Love the look, dislike the weight. Would be a nicer shoe if it were lighter and had a little more heel drop.

Great Shoe Model

Not to "Hoka" soft, great grip, durable, and comfortable. Toe box is just right without sacrificing the heel stability

Bad Finishing Quality

I've been wearing Arc'teryx shoes exclusively since the Arcrux SL Approach about 10 years ago, but this Konseal Approach is a real disappointment. The basic construction, including the mismatched lacing area, is truly disappointing. While the shoes are perfectly functional, the design and construction are disappointing. I hope they pay more attention to product inspection. This is the moment my obsessive interest in Arc'teryx shoes has crumbled.

Confortable!

Extremely comfortable, nice and very elegant, with all the futures of and approach shoe.

Great For Climbing, Toe Rubber Lacking Durability

I took these shoes to the Cascades to do some alpine rock climbing on them. I used them for the 2-3 hour hike in and o the rock. The hiked and climbed well. My one issue is the toe rubber is super lacking. After 2 days of use it already worn down to the suede. Compared to other shoes in it's price range and capability it should also have durable toe rubber as others have lasted longer in similar terrain.

Another Great Hiking Shoe

This is my second pair of Konseal's and these are very comfortable and the design is extremely good.

Great Shoes

Great and good quality shoes but unfortunately run small, had to return
