Don't Purchase Unless The Goal Is To Look Cute.

I feel like this shirt was made for short, fat people. I'm 6 ft, 185 lbs with a 30 in waste. Large fits my shoulders but its a belly button shower and looks like a sundress around my waste. Great material but the fit is terrible for an endurance athlete. it doesn't keep we warm in Washington spring/fall and is too hot to be a sun shirt. I would never recond this shirt to anyone that is trying to stay warm-ish in swing seasons.

Good All-rounder

The hoody looks great. The most breathable hoody I own. Durability could be a bit better, one of the seams has become a bit loose, however it's not bad. It's great for everyday and hiking. Wicks moisture very well. Overall it's a good all-rounder for hot days.

Good.

Great texture and material. Light and breathable. The tag is on a separate piece of fabric, making it easy to cut off. Fits well.

Great Fit

Great fit and color, I have several of similar Cormac Hoody products

My Husband Is Addicted!

My husband has three of these he loves all of them. He wears them in cold weather. He wears them on the boat in warm weather super comfortable, true to size, versatile! Great quality great colors.

Please Make "Tall" Sizes

Perfect shirt! But please please make them in "tall" sizes. When I climb the shirts are never long enough and pop out of my harness when I raise my arms above my head.

Great!

Well fited, even with long arms (my height is 200cm), great materials, that don't hold air circulation, but keep safe from the sun.

Quality Leaves A Bit To Be Desired

The cormac sun hoodie is comfortable and stylish, however the quality seems to be fairly low. In just a few weeks of wear, I have had to cut off several loose threads. For a piece at this price I expect higher quality.

Light Weight!!

Great top I use it for working out and flying, keeps the direct sun off my skin. it’s lightweight enough to breathe and not get too warm. great for UV protection!! I like a bit of a baggy fit I’m 5’9” and 200lbs I went with a XL and it is loose enough to move around and not tight. The design is great like all Arcteryx!!

Stay Protected

I love big days in the alpine, but have paid the sunburn toll a few too many times. When I know I will be out in serious UV, this is my trusted top. From spring ski mountaineering to summer scrambling, the Cormac is versatile and can act as a base layer to mid depending on the user and temps. A few examples: 1. Summer trail run. Acts as a base layer (no shirt under) that I can wear all day at low to moderate output. 2. Spring ski mountaineering. Layer with a merino shirt under and a puffy / shell on top as needed. The only tweak I would make on this piece is to make it a bit more breathable, but that is personal preference. For most temps and most output levels, it is perfect to keep you protected from the sun.

Durable, Comfortable

Just spent 7-days in the sierra high country with this shirt. I wore it all day, every day. Rinsed it in a lake in the afternoon and I was dry easily by morning. Tough days backpacking. The shirt still looks like the day I bought it.

Do It All Sun Hoody

My Favorite Sun hoody for running or ski touring. Light and airy. Dry's fast, durable, thumb holes for added protection, and great coverage from the hood. I'm 6 ft and 175 lbs and wear the medium. My only complaint would be that there aren't enough light colors. When I'm in the sun I want a light color that doesn't attract the sun.

Indispensable For Spring Or Fall Adventures

Perfect for Shoulder Season (what we call Mud Season out West).

Poor Quality Fabric

Is this a great sun hoodie? Yes! Super breathable. But the choice of stitching material makes it prone to sticking to Velcro, and even the slightest friction can cause the garment to pill. This might be a decent base layer Or for a city walk.

Keep The Rays Away

This is a pretty simple but high functioning piece, allowing you to move at medium to high output from spring to fall while keeping your skin safe from the sun. The hood frames the face well and fits neatly over a hat or under a helmet, while the thumb loops ensure you can prevent back of hand burns while traveling over snow and at altitude. It is a synthetic fabric, so while it's great at the intended functions, it doesn't naturally keep smells away like Merino, something to consider for expedition use when it won't get a lot of washes.
